Dr. Tammy Hersch

Dr. Tammy Hersch earned her Associate of Science degree from Presentation College in Aberdeen, SD and her Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology degree from the University Of Mary in Bismarck, ND. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon in 1993. Upon graduation she opened her optometric practice in Spearfish where she has been enjoying her profession since 1993.

She is a full scope practitioner and likes all aspects of optometry. She enjoys patients of all ages from birth to geriatrics and takes a special interest in treating ocular diseases such as dry eyes, glaucoma, diabetes and macular degeneration management, co management of cataract and LASIK surgery patients, eye injuries and foreign body removal.

Dr. Hersch lives in Spearfish with her husband Patrick. They have two children and one grandchild. They enjoy hiking, biking, skiing and being grandparents.
